Ruth Ann Jeffries

Ruth, 68, passed away Saturday May 8, 2021 at her home in Mesa, Arizona. She was born March 13th, 1953, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, daughter of Jack New and Mary Chon.
She married Gary Jeffries on March 26th, 1971 in Phoenix, Arizona. They recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Ruth was a devoted wife and mother of three children. She enjoyed traveling to see her family when she could. She had many hobbies including fishing (especially Woods Canyon Lake), arts and crafts, stenciling, and most of all, crocheting. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Gary Jeffries; two daughters, Debbie Manos and Linda Mejia; one son, Gary Jeffries: 12 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; one sister, Lily Pritchard; one brother, Jack New. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Donnie New, Charlie New; her parents; and granddaughter, Danielle Wynn.
Funeral Services were held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, May 20, 2021, in the Serenity Chapel at 719 North 27th Ave., Phoenix, AZ. Flowers and other arrangements are under the direction of Jennifer Rensch Greenwood Memorial Lawn (602) 242-5639.
