SUN CITY - Russell L. Morgan, 87, resident of Sun City, passed away Friday, Dec. 3, 2010. Russell was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Morgan; his daughter, Dawn Morgan; and brother, Richard Morgan. Russell is survived by his sister from Virginia, Gayle Paradiso and husband, Richard; nephews Rick and John; from New York his son, Chris Morgan and wife, Mary Ellen; from Ohio his granddaughter, Kate Morgan; from California his son, Lance Morgan and wife, Nancy; from Florida his granddaughter, Patricia Jones, husband Vincent; three great-grandsons, Shawn, Patrick and Vincent Jr.; from New Mexico his son, Dennis Gallagher and wife Dee; grandson, Nicholas' from California his grandson, Michael Gallagher and wife Melanie. Russell was born June 5, 1923, raised in suburban Boston, volunteered for pilot training and served as a pilot in five theaters of operation and the occupation of Japan. Russell joined Sealright (now Huhtamaki) in Fulton, N.Y. in 1947 as a Clerk in the Sales Coordination Department advancing through a number of supervisory positions not only in sales but also marketing and retiring in December of 1988 as Corporate Sales Administration Manager at the corporate office in Kansas City. Russell also participated in the company's junior achievement program as the sales advisor, one year guiding a student to the national championships. Russell in his service to the community was chairman of camping and activities for the Boy Scouts in Oswego County, New York. Russell was very active in many aspects of the sport he truly loved, golfing. Gravesite services will be held next year in Fulton, N.Y.
