Running club inspires East Valley woman, hundreds of others

When Jamie O’Driscoll had brain surgery, she knew there were things she might not be able to do anymore.

O’Driscoll, 58, of Chandler, is part of the Slow AF AZ Running Club, where she brings inspiration to other runners and seems to take some as well.

“I was always a ‘team-sport’ person,” O’Driscoll said. “But this club’s a lot like a team. Very supportive. And you can’t really be depressed when you’re super-engaged, so it lifts me up.”
