State Route 87 has partially reopened north of Mesa, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

The highway has reopened between Gilbert Road and Shea Boulevard. The highway remains closed between McDowell and Gilbert roads.

There is no estimated time to reopen the highway between Gilbert and McDowell.

State Route 87 has partially reopened north of Mesa, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

The highway has reopened between Gilbert Road and Shea Boulevard. The highway remains closed between McDowell and Gilbert roads.

There is no estimated time to reopen the highway between Gilbert and McDowell.

The closure is due to downed power transmission lines.
