The recorder’s statutory duty as defined by the Arizona Revised Statutes 16-545 (B)(1) and 16-503 (A) is to oversee the physical action of Early Voting, with the responsibilities and duty to prepare accurate ballots with timely delivery held by the appointed elections director.

Pinal County management has determined a remedy for the affected ballots and the recorder’s office is working diligently to ensure an accurate count of eligible ballots ensues. Voters with questions regarding their ballots are directed to contact the Citizen Contact Center at 520-509-3555 or 311 when dialing within Pinal County or may email communications@pinal.gov.

The recorder’s office has a dedicated team ready to conduct and safeguard a legal and accurate election and stands ready to assist the elections director as needed.
