Rose Marie Vogel

Rose Marie Vogel, 97.5, of Sun City, Arizona, fell asleep in the Lord on November 12, 2025. She was born April 13, 1928, in St. Paul, Minnesota, to William and Catherine England and had one younger brother, Billy. She attended St. Joseph's Academy in St. Paul. Rose Marie’s mother introduced her to a young soldier, Howard Edward Vogel, and several months later they married in 1948. They shared six children and fifty years together until Howard passed on January 19, 1998. Howard and Rose Marie leave the legacy of their lives to fifteen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren. Rose Marie is survived by her sons Michael George Vogel and Martin Thomas Vogel and her daughter Mary Vogel-Levendi. Her son, Matthew Joseph Vogel, and daughters Michele Marie Guerin and Margaret Ann Benson have preceded her in death. Rose Marie was known for her sharp wit and generosity and made a lasting impact through volunteerism with the Society of St. Vincent de Paul and the Sodality of St. Joachim & St. Anne Church in Sun City. She also donated to countless charities such as the Wounded Warrior Project and Doctors Without Borders.
