Rosalie B. Beutler

Rosalie B. Beutler, 90 SUN CITY WEST - Rosalie B. Beutler, 90, of Sun City West, died March 29 at the Hospice of Arizona after a short illness. Mrs. Beutler was born on March 21, 1921, in Ziefen, Switzerland. She married Oscar Beutler in 1946. In 1951 they relocated from Switzerland to Chicago, Ill. There Rosalie worked as an administrator for Evanston Township High School. In 1982 Rosalie and Oscar retired and moved to Sun City West. She very much enjoyed the desert lifestyle, and was active as a volunteer at Boswell Memorial Hospital and the Craft Group at the Desert Palms Presbyterian Church. Her interests included reading, knitting, and traveling frequently back to her homeland of Switzerland. Rosalie was predeceased by her husband, Oscar. Rosalie is survived by her sister, Lucie Mueller (Niklaus) of Campbell, Calif.; sister, Hedi Mueller of Bubendorf, Switzerland; sister-in-law, Ruth Schaefer of Liestal, Switzerland; as well as many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at Desert Palms Presbyterian Church, Sun City West at a later date. Please call the church at (623)584-4602 for more information.
