Roof replacement project at Peoria municipal complex nearing homestretch

Work planned to begin on city hall roof this year

The city of Peoria is nearing the end of a series of roof replacements that started with the replacement of the municipal court roof 13 years ago.

It will conclude with the replacement of the city hall roof later this year, which is nearing 30 years old.

Council recently approved a budget amendment and use of reserves in the amount of $100,000 to advance the pre-construction planning and bidding efforts for the project.
