Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central and Northern Arizona will host its Heart of the House Island Party this fall.
The event takes place Saturday, Oct. 7, at the iconic Hotel Valley Ho, 6850 E. Main St., in Scottsdale.
The crucial funds raised during the event will support Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central and Northern Arizona’ mission of providing a “home-away-from-home” for families who travel to the Valley seeking critical medical care for their children by providing nights of comfort and rest at no charge.
Island Party will transport guests to white-sand beaches and turquoise waters, as they travel across the grounds of the historic Hotel Valley Ho. The evening will include live and silent auctions, a trip raffle, and dinner and dancing, all benefiting Ronald McDonald House Charities’ mission to keep families together and close to medical resources for their children.
The program will also celebrate Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central and Northern Arizona 2023 Heart of the House Honorees, longtime McDonalds owner-operator Bob Souza, and corporate champion Hotel Valley Ho.
“Our mission is made possible by champions like Bob and Hotel Valley Ho, who really put their hearts and hard work forward to support the work we do for families,” Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central and Northern Arizona CEO Kerry Schulman shared in a statement. “We are absolutely thrilled to be honoring them, and to host this event for our community of supporters and new friends who want to learn more about our organization.”
