Ronald McDonald House Charities hosts Fore the House Golf Tournament
Posted
Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central and Northern Arizona will host its FORE the House Golf Tournament on Monday, April 24, at Papago Golf Club in Phoenix.
The tournament will raise crucial funds for RMHCCNAZ’s mission of providing a “home-away-from-home” for families who travel to the Valley seeking critical medical care for their children by providing nights of comfort and rest at no charge.
Leading the charge as presenting sponsor of the tournament benefiting the organization is Tyson Foods, a longstanding supporter of RMHCCNAZ.
“We at Tyson are proud to partner with RMHCCNAZ,” JC Hughes, sales account manager at Tyson said in a written statement. “We love to see the positive impact that we can make not only in our community but also in the lives of those who live in it. We are extremely grateful to partner with such a caring team of people at the House and look forward to continuing great things in 2023!”
The event will kick off with a 10:30 a.m. shotgun start and conclude with a 19th Hole Reception at the clubhouse. Throughout the tournament, activities will include a morning drink bar, on-course activities, a helicopter ball drop raffle, and a reception celebrating the mission of Ronald McDonald House.
Returning for a second year, the tournament is chaired by board member Matt Salata, Vice President, Business Development & Premium Sales with the Phoenix Suns.
“We are thrilled to head back to Papago Golf Club for our golf tournament with the incredible support of Tyson Foods and the leadership and enthusiasm of Matt Salata,” Kerry Schulman, CEO of RMHCCNAZ said in a written statement. “The FORE the House Golf Tournament is one of our most important fundraising events of the year and the funds raised will go directly towards helping families in need and supporting our mission.”
Current platinum sponsors include La-Z-Boy.
