Residents and businesses in Surprise can now rent roll off containers directly from the city’s Solid Waste department.

Roll off containers are ideal for larger amounts of non-hazardous refuse (not regular household trash) and can be used for construction, industrial and home improvement projects such as home remodels or landscape renovations.

An active city services account in good standing is required for roll off container rentals. Customers who do not have an account can set one up by calling Customer Service at 623-222-1900. 

Available container sizes:

• 16 cubic yards (17’x8’x6’)
• 20 cubic yards (23’x8’x5’)
• 30 cubic yards (23’x8’x6’)
• 40 cubic yards (23’x8’x8’)

Containers can be rented for up to 14 days.

The roll off container rental fee is $200 per pull (a pull includes both container drop off and pick up) plus $28.03 per ton (weight of the material in the container delivered to the landfill). Additional fees apply for container relocations and hard to reach or inaccessible containers.
