Roland D. AhrensRoland D. Ahrens of Sun City West, passed away May 22, 2008. Formerly of Downers Grove, Ill., Mr. Ahrens was the beloved husband of Nancy L. Ahrens; loving father of Judi (Greg) Goebel, Cynthia (fiance, Sean Sullivan) Ahrens, Valerie Ahrens and the late Dan Ahrens; proud grandfather of Garrett and Grant Goebel; brother of Wayne (Janet) Ahrens and the late Audrey Carlson; and dear uncle, cousin and friend to many. A memorial service was held Saturday, June 21 at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 13724 W. Meeker Blvd., Sun City West. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to Eve's Place, P.O.
