Roger Vizenor, 64Roger Vizenor, 64, passed away peacefully on Jan. 14 at his home in Apache Junction due to complications from cancer.Mr. Vizenor was born April 25, 1942 in St. Cloud, Minn. to the late Albert and Alma (Jaeckels) Vizenor. He married Madeline Pietrzak on April 28, 1962 in Gilman, Minn. and the couple owned and operated the Rainbow Café in Foley for seven years. After the restaurant business, Mr. Vizenor went to work in sales for the Rubald Beverage Company. He was quite the salesman. While in Arizona, Mr. Vizenor owned and operated RMV Carpet Cleaning for four years. He will be greatly missed. He loved his family, friends and a good game of golf.Roger is survived by his wife and their children, Peggy (Shane) Vizenor, East Grand Forks, Minn.; Barry Vizenor (Ronda), Foley, Minn.; Suzette Vizenor, Blaine, Minn.; and grandchildren Christopher, Kody and Kendra. Other survivors include brothers and sisters, Arlene Zulawski, Fremont, Calif.; Donald (Rita) Vizenor, Gecumseh, Okla.; Laverne (Curt) Hansen, Inver Grove Heights, Minn.; Beverly (Richard) Tkaczik, Aitkin, Minn.; Jerome (Rachel) Vizenor, Rogers, Minn.; Rita (Leon) Moeller, Foley, Minn.; Bob (Virginia) Vizenor, Shakopee, Minn.; Mary Lou Haffner, St. Cloud, Minn.; and Jack (Debbie) Vizenor, Foley, Minn.He was preceded in death by his mother, father and two brothers. Visitation will be at 9:30 a.m. prior to the Celebration of Mass at 10:30 a.m. at St. John"s Catholic Church in Foley, Minn. on Saturday, Jan. 27.
