Roger Dale DeBauche

Posted
SUN CITY WEST - Roger Dale DeBauche, 79, died peacefully on Tuesday, July 21, 2015, with his family at his side. He was born January 23, 1936, in Green Bay, to the late Clarence and Geraldine (Lemieux) DeBauche. After graduating from Green Bay West High School, Roger proudly joined the US Army and served overseas during the Korean Conflict. On March 15, 1958, he married the former Beverly Jean Whiting in Kansas City, MO. Roger grew up on the Suamico River, fishing with his brother, Jerry. As a young man he was a talented pitcher with a mean curve ball, playing alongside his future brother-in-law, Cal Whiting. Later in life, he enjoyed relaxing in his garage with his dogs, listening to his favorite radio station and visiting with all who made time to stop for small talk and a cold glass of cheer. Roger was always especially fond of dogs and even became an honorary member of the Humane Society. He was a giving man who shared his time and treasures with numerous charitable organizations. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Beverly Jean DeBauche; and their four children, Deborah (Paul) Yancy, David (Michele) DeBauche, Roger Michael DeBauche and Kim DeBauche; and special friend, Mark Mancheski; his grandchildren, Dana Yancy, Hannah Yancy and fiancé, Aaron Pierce, Cara (Joe) Stoltz, Jordan and Lydia DeBauche, Matthew Lemmen, Ryan (Elizabeth) DeBauche, Dylan DeBauche, Andrew, Austin and Kendra Jepson; three great grandchildren, Quinten, Chloe, and Carly Lemmen and their mother, Jesse Lemmen; his brother, Jerry (Helen) DeBauche; a sister, LaVerne Gerondale; brothers-in-law, Calvin (Pat) Whiting and Dennis Whiting; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kendy DeBauche and her son, Nathan Lemmen; his older brother, Donald DeBauche; and brother-in-law, Ronald Whiting. Friends called at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 2040 Hillside Lane, after 3 p.m. Friday, July 24, 2015 until time of Mass. Funeral Mass was 5 p.m., Friday, July 24, 2015 at the church with Rev. Robert Rhyner officiating. Entombment was at Nicolet Memorial Gardens. In lieu of floral expressions, a memorial fund has been established in Roger's name. On-line condolences may be sent to the DeBauche family at www.prokowall.com.
