After years of focusing on apartment projects throughout the Valley, New York City-based Rockefeller Group decided about a year ago to reenter the Phoenix commercial market.
The real estate developer focused on the northwest and southwest Valley and recently honed in on a site in Surprise’s business park.
Rockefeller Group announced on April 12 the purchase of a 25-acre parcel on Sweetwater Avenue in Surprise for $12 million. The company will develop Surprise Pointe Commerce Center, a 415,000-square-foot speculative distribution center, on the property.
