SUN CITY - Robert Lee Atkins, 72 years old, was born Dec. 24, 1938, in Indianapolis, Ind., to Amos and Mildred Atkins. He died on Sept. 13, 2011 in Sun City. Bob enjoyed his 42 years in Arizona. He was an avid hiker who hiked most of the trails in the Grand Canyon and the Phoenix area. He also enjoyed gardening. Bob retired from Intel Corporation. He is survived by his wife Karen.
