Robert L. Camenisch

PEORIA - Robert L. Camenisch passed away on July 3, 2015. Mr. Camenisch was born in La Salle, Illinois and graduated from St. Bede Academy, La Salle-Peru-Oglesby Junior College and Northwestern University School of Law. He was a WWII Veteran of the 97th Infantry. He served in the European Theater and the Occupation of Japan. He was a Staff Attorney for the Federal Trade Commission for 16 years before becoming the commission's regional director, for seven years. He served as a United States administrative law judge in Milwaukee and Chicago. He is survived by his wife, Nora (Killian) Camenisch; and six nieces and nephews. Burial will be at St. Vincent Cemetery in La Salle, Illinois. A memorial mass will be held at 10:00 am, Thurs., July 16, 2015, at St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church, Sun City.
