SUN CITY - Robert G. Arnold passed away peacefully on July 24, 2016 at the age of 93 after a ten year battle with Parkinson's Disease. Born in Columbus, Ohio, he graduated from Purdue University with a degree in mechanical engineering . He served in the US Army during WWII. He began his career with General Motors in Columbus and retired 42 years later as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer in Warren, Mich. He married Dorothy Stauch in 1948 and after his retirement they moved to Sun City. He was a member of the Sun City Model Railroad Club, the Parkinson's Tremble Clefs Choir and Peace Lutheran Church. He was preceded in death by daughter, Darcie. He is survived by wife, Dorothy Stauch Arnold; and six children, Douglas (Renea), Daniel (Susan), David (Carol Ann), Dawn (Kathleen), Dian Gasparski (Terry), Dirk; six grandchildren and nine nieces and their families. The family is grateful for the caregivers in the home and especially Hospice of the West and at Agave Assisted Living. Memorial service will be 2 p.m., Saturday, August 20, 2016, at Peace Lutheran Church, 2016, 18265 N. 89th Ave., Peoria, AZ 85352.
