Robert (Bob) Francis Hemming Jr.; age 52, loving husband and father of three, of Wittmann, AZ, passed away on Tuesday, December 26th, 2017 in Queen Creek, AZ. Bob was born on September 17, 1965 in Paterson NJ, to Robert and Leah (Lincoln) Hemming.Bob owned Showdown Pest Control, servicing the Sun City West/Surprise area since 1997. Bob had fun talking with his customers about the things they like doing and what interests they shared. Bob also enjoyed sharing his enthusiasm for Jack Daniel's Whiskey, even visiting the plant in Tennessee with his daughter Amy earlier this year. Bob's passions included running, riding a bicycle, shooting and most especially riding his Harley Davidson alongside his wife Kathleen, brother George and close friend Mel Sheridan.Bob met his wife Kathleen (Murray) Hemming from (New Jersey) in Mesa, AZ and they married on December 31ST, 1991, and have been happily married for almost 26 years. Bob is survived by his spouse Kathleen Hemming of Wittman, his beloved children Jennifer Hemming (Josh Hill) of Phoenix; Ryan (Jessica VanCleaf) Hemming of Tucson; and Amy (Daniel) Alexander of Sierra Vista; and beloved granddaughter Christine. He is also survived by his father Robert Francis Hemming Sr. of Cordes Lakes; his sister Ruth Ann (Dan) Rowland of Mesa, and brother George (Sally) Hemming of Prescott Valley. Bob leaves behind multiple aunts and uncles, 9 nieces and nephews, and 14 grand nieces and nephews. Bob is preceded in death by his mother Leah Hemming in 2013.Per Bob's request he will be cremated without a viewing, however, a memorial service will be held on Friday, January 5th, from 12 Noon until 7:00 P.M. at Scottsdale Harley Davidson, 15656 N. Hayden Rd., Scottsdale, AZ 85260; (480) 905-1903.In lieu of flowers, please consider the needs of the family or memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.Bob was loved by all and will be sadly missed. We will always carry your memory in our hearts.
