Robert F. Wendels

Robert F. Wendels SUN CITY - Robert F. Wendels, born Nov. 17, 1930, in Fund du Lac, Wis., long time resident of Chicago, Ill., and final resident of Sun City, passed away suddenly at his home while doing yard work. He was the loving husband of Lillian 'Lou' (deceased); the terrific stepfather of Bonita "Bonnie" Eidson (Ken), Gary M. Anish Sr. (Lin), and Richard J. Anish (Connie); the fond grandfather of Gary M. Anish II (Cathy), Christopher Anish (Sue), Sue M. Eidson (deceased), Laura L. Trofel (Andy), Eric Anish, and Melissa Anish; great-grandfather of nine; uncle of Nikki Ann, Rick and Jake Basin; and brother of Jack Windels. Bob was proud to be a lifetime member of the NRA, enjoyed making his own ammunition, crossword puzzles, and current events. He was retired from I.S. Berlin Press. Bob was a central figure in our families and will be sorely missed. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the NRA or SPCA. There will be memorial services in Illinois.
