Robert Ernest Eck Jr. (R.E.) passed away at his home on Saturday, May 7, 2022. R.E. grew up in the town of Kearny, AZ, then spent his adult life in Apache Junction. He was a long time councilman and Vice Mayor for the City Of Apache Junction. R.E. is survived by his daughter Jami (Todd) Morrow, their children Gabi (11), Aria (6), and Mila (6). He is also survived by his son, Robert Ernest Eck III (Juni) and his Son Jackson (3), and his former wife of 35 years Cynthia (Sanchez) Eck.
R.E. found delight in being “Papa” to his 4 grandchildren who he loved dearly.
A memorial will be held on Saturday, May 14th, 2022, at 1pm at Our Saviors Lutheran Church. 612 S Ellsworth Rd, Mesa, AZ, 85208. There will be a reception to follow at the Moose Lodge in Apache Junction, 350 W 16th Ave, Apache Junction, AZ, 85120.
