Road work requires detours from Chandler to Tempe

The northbound Loop 101 will be closed this weekend between Loop 202 in Chandler and US 60 in Tempe.

A pavement improvement project will require the closure, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

The work will take place from 9 p.m. Friday, July 12, until 5 a.m. Monday, July 15.

The northbound Loop 101 will be closed this weekend between Loop 202 in Chandler and US 60 in Tempe.

A pavement improvement project will require the closure, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

The work will take place from 9 p.m. Friday, July 12, until 5 a.m. Monday, July 15.

ADOT officials recommend drivers consider using westbound I-10 and eastbound US 60 as an alternate freeway route to reach northbound Loop 101.
