The Arizona Department of Transportation stated in a release that northbound 48th Street will be closed between Broadway Road and I-10 from 10 p.m. Friday, May 19, to 10 p.m. Saturday, May 20, for bridge removal work.
At the same time, the westbound I-10 on-ramp at Broadway Road will be closed. ADOT officials suggest using the westbound I-10 on-ramp at 40th Street instead.

Work on the Broadway Curve improvement project will affect traffic this weekend in Tempe.
The Arizona Department of Transportation stated in a release that northbound 48th Street will be closed between Broadway Road and I-10 from 10 p.m. Friday, May 19, to 10 p.m. Saturday, May 20, for bridge removal work.
At the same time, the westbound I-10 on-ramp at Broadway Road will be closed. ADOT officials suggest using the westbound I-10 on-ramp at 40th Street instead.
As a detour, ADOT suggests using westbound Broadway Road to northbound 40th Street to eastbound University Drive to access northbound SR 143.
In addition, the eastbound I-10 on-ramp at Warner Road will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday to 3 p.m. Saturday for concrete work.
Use the eastbound I-10 on-ramp at Ray Road as an alternate, ADOT officials said.
