If it seems like Road to Country Thunder happened just a few months ago in Florence, you are correct.
Due to the pandemic, Country Thunder was postponed from its usual April date, which meant Road to Country Thunder also was delayed. In October, Country Thunder finally took place, as did Road to Country Thunder.
“Country Thunder is back on its regular schedule now, so the October event was a make-up one because they had postponed it a couple of different times,” said Alison Feliz, recreation superintendent for the town of Florence. “So, they're back on their regular schedule, which puts us back on our regular schedule.”
