Road safety concerns for residents

Excessive speeds in the community

The Maricopa Sheriff’s Office District 3, which provides law enforcement for Sun City West, patrols the community and speed on the roadways is a major concern for residents.

The total area of coverage for District 3 is 1,600 square miles, according to Michael Redman, Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office deputy.

MCSO deputies are aware of speed concerns and Redman said this is duplicated throughout the entire district.
