Two people died Sunday night when their vehicle crashed into a concrete barrier and caught fire at the US 60 Superstition Springs Boulevard exit, authorities said.
The collision occurred shortly after 7 p.m. “when two vehicles involved in a road rage incident were traveling at a high rate of speed on eastbound US 60,” an Arizona Department of Public Safety release stated.
Both the driver and passenger died in the crash.

Two people died Sunday night when their vehicle crashed into a concrete barrier and caught fire at the US 60 Superstition Springs Boulevard exit, authorities said.
The collision occurred shortly after 7 p.m. “when two vehicles involved in a road rage incident were traveling at a high rate of speed on eastbound US 60,” an Arizona Department of Public Safety release stated.
Both the driver and passenger died in the crash.
The DPS Vehicular Crimes Unit is investigating the incident, and criminal charges are pending, according to the release.
