Richards: Sun City West needs a new look

Posted

It isn’t just about the fun things (Rec centers, sparkle), they’re good to have, I agree, but how the money is spent is very important. Don’t forget about the foundation. For example if you have a beautiful home built on a bad foundation, how long will it be beautiful?

Hopefully you get people with integrity in your offices, but for those people to do their job completely, you need to give them good rules to work with. If it means contacting your state legislator or governor, then do it. People say that’s not going anywhere, but if you don’t try, then it certainly won’t go anywhere.

These people either made these rules or are letting them existing.
We were promised a roundtable meeting to discuss the problems, and I believe it will never happen. There are so many empty promises made just to keep the people quiet.

We pay the organization to do the work, and we the people are doing a lot of the work for free. They just kick the can down the road.

Yes I know it is financially reasonable to live here, but times change and everything goes up in price. I was told by several people that the banks on the R.H. Johnson Boulevard are the richest in the country. So let’s not be afraid to spend a little money to have a better life.
