Richard Patrick Mueller

APACHE JUNCTION - Richard Patrick Mueller, loving husband, father and grandfather, went to be with the Lord on Aug. 29, 2010. He was born in Winona, Minn. Richard served in the Navy in World War II as a photographer on the USS Hornet Aircraft Carrier. After he served in the military, he owned and operated Mueller Photography Studio, Clarion, Iowa, for 33 years. He moved to Arizona to retire. Richard was married 53 years to Jean, who preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Norma; daughter, Jane Sherman (fiance, Claude Hepworth); granddaughter, Jennifer Butler (fiance, Jeff Wild); grandson, Jonathon Sherman; son, Jim (his wife, Ellen); grandchildren, Holly, Ben, and Jimmy; and Norma's children, Debbie Kimmel (husband, Tom), Tom Eggebrecht (wife, Linda), and Paul Eggebrecht (wife, Stephanie), seven grandchildren, two great-granddaughters. A memorial service was 11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 4, at Mountain View Lutheran Church, Apache Trail/Goldfield Road, Apache Junction, Ariz.
