Richard (Dick) Herrman, 93Mr. Herrmann peacefully went home to be with his Lord and Savior Monday evening, March 5, 2007. Mr. Herrmann was a quiet man with a loving and generous heart, a deep spiritual belief and a true sense of family. A hard working pipe fitter by trade, he always had time for his family, setting a fine example for his sons. Mr. Herrmann and his beloved wife, June, of 67 years, moved from Chicago to Sun City in 1980 where they both enjoyed active lives. He is survived by his wife, June; sons and daughters-by-love, Richard and Marilyn (Brad, Jennifer, Mike); Paul and Nancy (DeAnn, Julia, Jennia, Janele); Scott and Cathleen (Linsey); plus 14 great-grandchildren. Mr. Herrmann has been a participant in the Sun Health Research Institute's search for the cause and cure for Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease and other neurological illnesses. His remains have been donated to the institute so others will benefit from his passing. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, 85014-5656.
