Richard F. Summers

SUN CITY WEST - Richard F. Summers formerly of Lombard, Ill. passed away on Feb. 27, 2015. Richard enjoyed model railroading, studying WWII history, and woodworking. His passion for woodworking led him to start his grandson's with their own tool collections. He cherished spending time with his grandchildren and great- grandchildren. He was a member of Lord of Life Church in Sun City West, AZ. Richard was a Past Master of Lodge #1098 and Past Worthy Patron of OES #918 both of Lombard, Ill. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Theresa Summers; children, Lynne (Scott) Valtman of Texas, Keith (Vicki) Summers of Fla., Laura (Kurt) Kissel of Mo. and Dawn (Rollin) Hamelberg of Ill; grandchildren, Todd (Brooke), Nicole( BJ), Leah, Travis, Alex, Cody, Sean and David; great-grandchildren, Preston, Makenzie, Chase and Tucker. Visitation & Masonic Service will be held at Brust Funeral Home 135 Main St. Lombard, Ill. 60148 on Sun., Mar, 8th.
