SURPRISE - Richard Anthony Tamburri, of Surprise, passed away on Nov. 19, 2010. Beloved husband of Beatrice Tamburri. Bea and Richard relocated to Surprise in 2000. Richard retired as the Assistant Treasurer for The University of Pittsburgh in 1993. Richard was an accomplished gourmet cook who also had a love of interior design. He utilized his gourmet skills entertaining his loving family and friends hosting their many dinner parties. Richard was preceded in death by his Mother and Father, Mary and Angelo Tamburri; his sisters, Helen Dascenzo, and Theresa Trapani; and his brother, Robert Tamburri. He is survived by many loving nieces and nephews. A Memorial service was 11 a.m., Nov. 26, at Camino del Sol Funeral Chapel, 13738 W. Camino del Sol, Sun City West, AZ 85375. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to Hospice of the Valley, 14066 W. Waddell Road, Surprise, AZ 85379.
