Ron Huemoeller says Arizona has a culture.
The president and CEO of Saras Micro Devices, speaking at the Jan. 24 grand opening of its Price Road corridor facility, said that culture is a combination of Midwestern blue-collar factory experience and grit and California Silicon Valley-type tech innovation.
“Because 70% of Arizonans weren’t born here, they often bring positive things from their homelands,” Huemoeller said. “I’m from Illinois. Taking that hard work and bringing new things — you’re (Chandler) certainly representative of that.”
