While it’s heartbreaking to see anyone killed by violence, either political or otherwise, we must remember that while people may die, their rhetoric lives on.
Patrick Henry wrote “Give me liberty or give me death,” and Dr. Martin Luther King wrote “I have a dream.” Their rhetoric lives on through the ages although they are long gone. The memories of those who are no longer with us will be reflected in their words and their rhetoric will determine how they are viewed by future generations.
