In between entertaining house guests visiting Arizona for an “escape,” retired Scottsdale Unified School District teacher turned author/poet Linda Rittenhouse continues to offer a literary escape.
“I think older people appreciate knowing that even retirees can still work hard to try to make a positive difference in kids’ lives. Because that’s exactly what all of us grandmas and grandpas do,” said Rittenhouse, who recently published the fifth book in her nature-inspired children’s picture series, “Nana Posy.”
The author of “Nana Posy and the Baby Bobcat,” and the fourth book in the series, “Nana Posy and the Midnight Mockingbird,” has announced both reached No. 1 on Amazon’s list of “Hot New Releases” within days of publication.
