Several weeks of “significant lane restricions” will affect traffic starting Monday morning on northbound State Route 51 near Camelback Road, state transportation officials said Tuesday.
The highway segment will be narrowed to two northbound lanes for about seven weeks to replace about 700 feet of damaged pavement. Repairs also will be made to the freeway’s drainage system, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
The work requires lane restrictions between Highland Avenue and Camelback Road to remain in place around the clock beginning 5 a.m. Monday, July 27.
