Restaurants, bars benefit from Queen Creek zoning change

The Queen Creek Town Council voted to amend a zoning ordinance to expand entertainment activities associated with restaurants and bars.

The move came during the council’s Wednesday, Aug. 3 meeting. The town’s Planning & Zoning Commission already had approved the amendment.

According to a council staff report, the town has received multiple inquiries about allowing music as part of a restaurant/bar operations.
