Restaurant builds roots with Arcadia community

The Porch combines games and food to create sporty atmosphere

The Porch in Arcadia, which opened about six years ago, is a restaurant and sports bar that offers game nights, catering and pub food.

Liza Loewenhagen, general manager of the establishment, said The Porch is crafted for what the neighborhood wants and is different from the other locations in Gilbert and Tempe because of that.

Loewenhagen emphasized the neighborhood connections of The Porch, saying, “It’s the neighbors and the neighborhood that keeps us alive and keeps us going.”
