Some Sun City residents want Karen McAdam back on the Recreation Centers of Sun City Board of Directors and they plan to speak out at the next board meeting.
The RCSC board is scheduled to conduct its first meeting 9 a.m. Monday, Sept. 13, in the auditorium at Sundial Center, 14801 N. 103rd Ave. It will be the board’s first meeting since McAdam was removed from the board in a June 25 secret meeting hastily called following the board’s final meeting June 24 before recessing for the summer.
That meeting was contentious at times, with McAdam accused of being in a conflict of interest because of her participation in pickleball during a discussion of the plans for the new Mountain View Center, 9749 N. 107th Ave.
