Residents still at odds with Sun City plans

RCSC members share grief about golf, center

Some residents are still arguing for the Mountain View Center project to be revisited and some golfers remain unhappy with tee time selection.

They shared their concerns with the Recreation Centers of Sun City Board of Directors Feb. 12 during the monthly exchange meeting. Few went away satisfied with the answers they received. But some board members implied the issues could be addressed in future board business meeting, possibly even as soon as this month when the board meets 9 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 23 in the auditorium at Sundial Center, 14801 N. 103rd Ave.

Margaret Ellingson said the existing plans for the Mountain View Center, 9749 N. 107th Ave., rebuild are based on town meetings conducted seven years ago.
