Sun City West residents were busy this summer.
A number of residents completed a 51,300-piece puzzle in 60 days. The giant puzzle, “27 Wonders from Around the World,” by Kodak, took 1,300 hours to complete and 90 residents placed a puzzle piece in the correct position.
For the past 11 years, a puzzle was donated in the name of Jim Hennessey by his wife, Vivian Hennessey. Jim loved jigsaw puzzles and before making the move to the library, a dining room table housed the puzzles. As he worked on the puzzles, he wanted to increase the challenge by adding more pieces.
