Residents can dispose of medications

Posse hosts semi-annual event

Residents of Sun City West and surrounding areas can get rid of unwanted medications during the semi-annual Drug Take Back event.

The drug collection is scheduled 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, April 22 at Posse headquarters, 20450 N. Stardust Blvd.

Deputies from the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office District 3 substation will be on site to assist residents in disposing of their unused prescriptions or over-the-counter drugs. No glass, needles or liquids will be accepted.
