The Property Owners and Residents Association Water Committee is on a 2-month break, but water conservation efforts continue.
David Hunter, PORA Water Committee chairman, continues to remain vigilant when it comes to all things water, including fugitive water, the Arizona Department of Water Resources and the Active Management Area, including the Phoenix Active Management Area.
Hunter said the Phoenix AMA is a small area in the middle of the Arizona Department of Water Resources Active Management Area. Right now, the Phoenix AMA is not experiencing any major water issues, rather it is mostly the outlying areas that are mostly unincorporated that are facing challenges, he added.
