Video: Residents address Goodyear reps about airplane safety after crash-landing

Goodyear resident complaints about an airport flight school continued during the Feb. 12 regular council session, with altitude as the primary legal concern after a training plane crash-landed in Goodyear.

The city of Goodyear does not manage or own the airport in Goodyear. The city of Phoenix manages the airport and owns the land. In months previous, residents have aired grievances about low flight paths and noise allegedly emanating from student pilots at the nearby flight school, United Aviate Academy.

Last week, on Feb. 12, those complaints continued.
