Greater Phoenix’s residential home sales in June boasted a 3% increase in closed sales, a 12% jump in listings and just a 3% drop in pending sales, according to the latest year-to-date single-family market data from Phoenix Realtors, and Scottsdale boasted similar numbers.
Scottsdale’s year to date numbers show closed sales are up 5.4%, an 8% increase in new listings and a 6.1% decrease in pending sales.
“While June numbers were better than expected, it’s important not to get ahead of ourselves by thinking the market is bouncing back,” Phoenix Realtor Christy Walker said in a press release. “The chief economist for the National Association of Realtors predicts that cautionary times are coming.”
