Bill seeking to restrain Arizona planning commissioners doesn’t make it out of committee

A bill proposed by Rep. Pam Carter, R-Scottsdale, making it illegal for planning commissioners in unincorporated areas to vote on projects they have a vested interest in appears to have died in committee.

House Bill 2374 never made it out of the House Government Committee and the House Rules Committee.

Carter, who represents Legislative District 4, did not respond to a request for comment for this story.
