Renna Sauder, 87, passed away on November 16, 2017 in Sun City West, AZ. Renna was born March 25, 1930, in Peoria, IL. She graduated from Peoria High School and attended Bradley University where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority.She met her husband, Ralph Sauder, in high school and they shared 67 happy, fun-filled years together. Becoming a wife and mother was her life's ambition and she excelled at both. If there is one word to describe Renna it would be 'vivacious.' Physically active for most of her life, she was an avid tennis player and golfer. She loved to dance and participated in many musical and thespian activities in Sun City West. She was a member of the Rhythm Tappers Club. Renna loved entertaining and enjoyed hosting parties at her home in Peoria, Illinois, and Sun City West. She also had an artistic side and loved crafts such as adding bling to T-shirts for her tennis team or a bit of pop to her hat collection. An ardent reader, Renna kept multiple legal pads of the many books she had read over the years. She never lost her engaging smile or ability to laugh. Her kindness, gentleness, love, and compassion will never be forgotten. She was a wise, loving mother and friend.Renna is survived by her husband Ralph Sauder of Sun City West, three daughters Linda Howard, Beth Cook and Lee Seekamp, ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.The family requests all memorial donations be sent to a charity of their choice.A private family service will be held at a later date.
