Scottsdale’s remote employees will soon be heading back to the office.
A recent memo sent to all city employees gives remote workers until June 20 to fill out a request form to be allowed to continue working from home.
“We are shifting toward a city-wide preference for in-office work, emphasizing the many benefits of being together in person — such as enhanced collaboration, stronger mentorship opportunities and a more connected workplace culture,” the memo states. “While remote work will still be available in limited circumstances, it will require formal approval moving forward.”
