‘Sing, Sing, Sing’ to perform in Sun City West
"Sing, Sing, Sing," a musical variety group will perform at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 4 at Advent Episcopal Church, 13150 Spanish Garden Drive, Sun City West.
The show will provide a musical tribute of songs from the 30s and 40s to the 50s, 60s and beyond. Tickets for the performance are $5 and may be purchased at the door or the church office. Please contact the church at 623-584-0350 for more information.
Here’s a look at the "Sing, Sing, Sing" performers:
Donna Wilde, vocals and saxophone. A versatile singer who performed with the Hardscrabble Players Theatre Company in Wisconsin, Ms. Wilde has sung and played saxophone with the Phoenix-area’s top jazz and pop artists and groups. She has also been a featured performer in several Valley shows.
Jerilyn Babicky, vocals, choreographer. Ms. Babicky has performed with Arizona Opera, appearing in productions of "Romeo and Juliet" and "Turandot." She has also sung with several Phoenix-area jazz ensembles, and was a featured performer in shows at Peoria Center for the Performing Arts and other venues.
Jackie Kilian, vocals, keyboards. Ms. Kilian has appeared in stage productions of "Flower Drum Song" and "Oklahoma!" and has also sung with the vocal group Pizzazz. She is also an accomplished pianist who works with the vocal group Upscale Singers.
Rich Mancini, vocals, guitars, keyboards. He is one of the Valley’s most in-demand performers — a versatile singer and musician who is adept in a variety of styles. His Mancini the Band is a unique big event group in the Phoenix-area.
Richard Palalay, piano, keyboards, musical director. Mr. Palalay was a musical director for the Las Vegas-based show Legends In Concert, as well as for several of Hawaii’s top showroom headliners. His many years of working with shows have given him the experience and ability to create and craft successful shows for various acts and producers in Hawaii, California, Washington, Arizona and onboard Princess Cruises ships.
The remainder of the Advent Episcopal Church’s Concert Series will feature the Desert Brass Band at 3 p.m., on Sunday, March 11, and the Surprise Pops Band at 3 p.m., on Sunday, May 6.IF YOU GO
