Relaunch of RoboRide in Peoria has been temporarily delayed
Posted
The relaunch of RoboRide, an autonomous vehicle pilot program, has been temporarily delayed in the city of Peoria.
The program would have launched Nov. 15.
In a statement, the city said that all quality testing, processing and permitting are still being finalized to ensure route optimization.
Peoria and Maricopa Association of Governments will continue to work with the service provider, Beep, to complete the requirements in the very near future.
"We are looking forward to bringing RoboRide back to Peoria and will provide an updated start date and associated relaunch ceremony very soon," according to the statement.
