Reilly: Governor, attorney general should research presidential power
President-Elect Trump announced that he will be declaring another national emergency because America is being invaded by those who are now illegally occupying various parts of our nation.
Arizona Gov. Katie Hobbs and Arizona Attorney General Chris Mayes have made it clear that they will not comply with emergency deportation orders of illegals in America. I would suggest that both Mayes and Hobbs do some competent research regarding how much power the president wields under a wartime emergency declaration.
Review the Alien and Sedition Acts of 1798 for a better understanding of the power Trump has at his disposal and how a refusal, as a public official, to follow the law may be interpreted by those enforcing a resurrected Sedition Acts of 1798.

Trump has declared that he is an emergency wartime president. Presidential Emergency Action Documents that Trump allegedly signed in 2021, prior to his “leaving” office, may be in force at this moment. I believe that the FBI/Mar-a-Lago raid was most likely a search for Trump’s documents.
Public officials should also understand the possible offenses and penalties for not cooperating with immigration officials and the military during a declared emergency.
Trump is a brilliant leader. He loves our people, our nation and our Constitution. He follows the rule of law and I believe he will justly hold law breakers accountable for their actions or lack of actions regarding our sovereign nation during these difficult times. I believe we’ll be witnessing amazing future events. God will save America!
